AC stopped working at about 4 p.m. on a 100° Sunday. Called PDQ at about 5 p.m. At 7:50 p.m. George showed up at our home. Even though he had already worked all through the weekend, he was very professional. He replaced our fan motor, found our capacitors were bad and replaced those. He then found our fuses had also blown and replaced those. He then ran water on our compressor to cool it down. All this was done in the dark (with flashlights). He stayed around to make sure the air conditioner was running smoothly. Our next door neighbor had their AC go out the day before and was told by their service company that they could get it fixed for 5 days. We highly recommend the company.

These guys are so honest. I had a popular, different company tell me my condenser fan was going bad and would cost $1,700 to fix, but I should really be replacing the whole system for 12K. I called PDQ for a second opinion and am SO glad I did. Unlike many AC companies, the techs are not on commission. So Chase came out and checked out my unit and said the fan didn't need replacing, and if it did it would be $850. So it only cost me a service fee and saved me either $1,700 or $12,000. Going forward I'll be using PDQ for all my AC repairs, and replacement when that time TRULY comes. Thanks, Chase and PDQ, for looking out for my best interest and not trying to upsell me!

My A/C compressor was making a terrible noise this Sunday morning, so I made some calls, and PDQ was the only place that could come out the same day with only a few hours’ wait. The technician, Chase, was very knowledgeable, polite, and professional! Within a few minutes he had found and fixed the issue. He explained in detail what happened and how he fixed it. I Would Not Change to Any Other Company
April 9, 2026. Roger from PDQ did my yearly checkup on my A/C that was installed by PDQ in 2021. Roger found two small issues that he took care of quickly. I moved here in 1999 and have used a few different HVAC companies, and now I would not change to any other company other than PDQ.

I wish I could give higher than 5 stars. I had them look at my high-efficiency Trane AC system after it had been non-functioning for almost 3 weeks. I had 3 other techs from other companies look at it and were unable to fix it, they overcharged me, and never showed up in the committed time window. I found this company in desperation using AI search; they were top of the list of 5 recommendations given my prompts. They heard about my bad experience with other companies, fit me in late on the same day I called. PDQ AC tech Chase was timely, professional, extremely knowledgeable on high-end Tranes, identified the problem, ordered the replacement part, and stayed in continuous communication. The part was installed promptly, and AC up and working quickly. In discussions with Chase, I learned the company is family-owned and are truly trying to build a reputation on skill and professionalism, not seeing everything as an opportunity to upsell. I've used several AC companies over the 20+ years I've lived in the Valley. This is the best by far!
